Wedding Videographer Paris

I'm Caio Coelho, a Paris-based wedding videographer specialising in documentary-style cinematic films. I capture weddings in Paris, across Île-de-France, and internationally — for couples who want their film to feel like the day actually felt, not a polished version of it.

A different kind of wedding film

Most wedding videos look the same. Beautiful shots, slow-motion kisses, dramatic music. They're well made — but they could belong to anyone.

What I do is different.

I film the way a documentarian would. I stay close, I stay quiet, and I wait for the moments that can't be staged — the nervous laugh before the ceremony, the look between your parents during the speeches, the chaos of the dancefloor at midnight.

The result is a film that is unmistakably yours. One you'll watch on your tenth anniversary and feel exactly what you felt that day.

Based in Paris. At home in Île-de-France.

Paris is where I live and where I work best. I know its light, its châteaux, its rhythm.

Whether you're getting married at a grand château in Île-de-France, in a Haussmann apartment in the 16th, or in a hidden courtyard in Le Marais — I know how to read these spaces and use them.

Some of the venues I've worked at in and around Paris:

  • Château de Nainville-les-Roches
  • Château d'Aveny
  • Domaine de Villiers-le-Mahieu
  • Paris private venues & townhouses

Available for destination weddings worldwide — Greece, Italy, Portugal, and beyond.

What a wedding film with me looks like

No stiff poses. No forced moments. No checklist of shots.

I spend the day observing, moving, listening. My camera becomes part of the room. By the time the most important moments happen — your vows, the first embrace, the speeches — you've forgotten I'm there.

That's when I get what I came for.

The final film is edited with intention: every cut, every piece of music, every silence chosen to bring you back into how the day felt.

Frequently asked questions

How far in advance should I book a wedding videographer in Paris?

Most couples book 10 to 18 months in advance, especially for peak season (May to October). I take on a limited number of weddings each year to ensure full creative focus — I'd recommend reaching out as early as possible.

Do you film destination weddings outside of Paris?

Yes. I'm based in Paris but regularly travel across France — Provence, Normandy, the Loire Valley — and internationally. Travel is included or quoted separately depending on the destination.

What is documentary-style wedding videography?

It's an approach rooted in observation rather than direction. Instead of orchestrating moments, I capture them as they happen. The result feels authentic, cinematic, and deeply personal — a film that reflects how the day actually felt, not how it was supposed to look.

Do you work with English-speaking couples planning a wedding in France?

Absolutely. I'm fully bilingual and work regularly with international couples planning their wedding in Paris or across France. I can coordinate with your planner, venue, and photographer in both languages.

Can I see full wedding films before booking?

Yes — I share full films on request during our first conversation, so you can get a real sense of my storytelling approach beyond the highlight reels.

How long does it take to receive my wedding film?

Typically 8 to 12 weeks after your wedding day, depending on the season.
