I got into filmmaking because I wanted to capture something true.

Weddings turned out to be the best place to find it.

I'm Caio, a documentary filmmaker based in Paris.

I've been working in film for over ten years, across music videos, corporate work, and live events. But weddings are where I found what I was actually looking for : real people, in real moments, with everything on the line.

What I do is simple. I show up, I pay attention, and I stay out of the way. I don't direct your day.

I don't stage emotional moments. I wait for them, and they always come.

Every film I make is built around an emotional core: something you said, a glance between you, the way a room felt at a certain hour. That's the thread I follow from the first shot to the last edit.

Before the day :

We talk. I want to understand what matters to you, not the schedule, but the feeling you're after.

That conversation shapes everything.

On the day :

We work as a two-person team, myself and Mathys, my filming assistant. Small enough to move freely, experienced enough to cover everything without ou ever feeling watched.

After

Every film goes through a meticulous editing process built around your story. No generic structure, no template. The result is something that sounds and feels like your day, not like a wedding film.
